About Kashi/Oak:

Kashi/Oak bachi is the heaviest and hardest wood type that are perfect for middle sized drums such as the nagado taiko. Please check the size chart below to find the right size for you. All of our bachi are made in Japan.

Engraving Service: 

The cost is $6.00 per pair for identical engraving and $10.00 per pair for different engravings.

To personalize your bachi, please provide the font and text you wish to have engraved, or upload a design file. Select "same engraving" for identical text on each pair, or "different engraving" for unique inscriptions on each pair.

• Placement: Engraving always goes straight and centered
• Size: Height is about one-third of the bachi thickness, and length is adjusted to fit cleanly in the middle
• Accuracy: Engraving will be copied exactly as entered or uploaded (please double-check spelling and capitalization)
• Character limit: Up to 20 characters per bachi
• Japanese text: All Japanese characters will be engraved vertically
• Turnaround: Please allow 3–5 extra business days for engraved orders
• Final Sale: Customized bachi are non-returnable and non-refundable
