Description
- In taiko, uchikomi (打ち込み) is a fundamental, repetitive training method used to develop proper form, power, precision, and a strong, resonant sound. The term comes from the verb utsu, meaning “to strike” or “to beat,” reflecting the practice’s emphasis on disciplined, continuous playing.
- The goal is for the body to internalize efficient technique - prioritizing form over power, while building strength, stamina, and endurance.
- Class will include various timed drills and a long, non-stop uchikomi circuit!
- NOTE: Only students enrolled in the FULL 8-week course will have the opportunity to perform at the LATI Recital on Saturday, December 12.

Two-Installment Payment Plan: Total course fee is $240, paid in two installments of $120 each. First payment is due today at checkout, and second payment will be automatically charged on October 31, 2026 to the card provided at the time of first payment.

Refund Policy
