Masa Miyano

Masa Miyano, full-time staff at Asano Taiko U.S. and Principal of Los Angeles Taiko Institute, brings over 15 years of taiko experience to the stage and classroom as a performer and educator with UnitOne, Prota, and TAIKOPROJECT’s Education Team. Masa’s approach to taiko is rooted in the improvisational style of Hachijo Daiko, where individuality and instinct are central. He believes in guiding students to discover their own voice in taiko, encouraging them to feel the music as much as they perform it.
