Blaine O'Brien

Blaine O'Brien is a lifelong percussionist who discovered taiko in the southern California collegiate taiko community in 2007. Blaine has directed the Crespi Taiko program at Crespi Carmelite High School since 2011, has been a performing member of TAIKOPROJECT since 2014, and has recently joined UnitOne. Though usually focussing on small drums and fue, Blaine loves composing and arranging for a variety of drums in the modern taiko ensemble.
